Welcome, Freshmen of the International Bachelor of Science programmes to the first ever IBSc Freshmen Annual Sitsit!
The dark and cold of the finnish winter is closing in quickly as you make your way around Otaniemi in the crisp Autumn air. But fear not fair Fuksi, for there will be a beacon of warmth and light in the upstairs of OK20 on the 18.11 just for you as we gather together to celebrate the start of your journey at Aalto University in high spirits with the first edition of the IBSc Freshmen Annual Sitsit.
It will be a night filled with singing, joy, food and of course a great opportunity to get to know your fellow freshmen from other programmes. Sitsit have a long tradition in the finnish Teekkari Culture and this event will be held in English.
The event will start at 18:00 with cocktails in OK20 and the main sitsit will start at 18:30, the dress code is smart-casual and the event costs 10€, so come along on the 18.11, whether these are your first ever sitsit or you have already had the joy of attending some before, there is something for everyone!
These sitsit are meant for freshmen from the bachelor programmes in Chemical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Data Science, Digital Systems & Design and Quantum Technology.
Registration opens on the 24.10.2019 at 12:00 and closes on the 30.10.2019. The link will be added to the event.
