IK kicks off the excursion year by organizing an online excursion with Fennovoima on March 17th at 16:00! Fennovoima is a Finnish energy company, whose goal is to produce energy in Finland without burdening the environment. The event is organized via Teams and it is open to all guild members. The event will be in English, if there are English-speaking participants.
During the excursion you will get to hear about Fennovoima as a company and dive into the world of Hanhikivi 1 nuclear power plant project. Hanhikivi 1 -project is among the biggest single investments in Finland. After being finished, the power plant will produce about tenth of Finland’s electricity demand, emission-freely and reliably. You don’t want to miss this!
On top of all this, 20 first people to sign up will get
a 15 euro Foodora meal offered by Fennovoima. Those who get the Foodora treat will get more detailed instructions by email. An interesting presentation as well as delicious treat!
